New York City is many things to many people. Among them, it is a vibrant and exciting college town, home to prestigious universities like New York University (NYU), Columbia, Marymount, and the City College of New York, to name just a few. Many students find the city a place of limitless opportunities, and you will want to capitalize on all of those opportunities, especially if you are coming to New York from out of town.

Dorms offer students some measure of independence: living on their own, scheduling their own meals, making their own beds – or not, as the case may be.
